Description
About the Outpatient Program
The Arrow Health team are qualified professionals and have a depth and breadth of experience in addiction treatment. Our team consists of people who are passionate about working with people
with addictions and their families to achieve long-term, positive change and transformation. All staff have had some sort of lived experience of addiction – either first-hand or within their families. We believe that people who have experienced these challenges are most effective in providing treatment to people still experiencing the impact of addiction.
The program is designed to provide resources and education so that clients who wish to move forward to implement behavioural change to address addiction issues can do so from an educated
basis. The outpatient program is not a detox or withdrawal program from alcohol or drugs. Any clients who are looking to undertake reduction or abstinence from alcohol or drugs must seek
appropriate medical and psychological support from their doctor and/or other qualified practitioners.
The Course will be held in person at Arrow Health, 86A Kooyong Road, Armadale and via Zoom.
The program operates three times weekly from 10.00 am and finishes at 1.00pm. Sessions will run on a Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Participants are expected to participate in all aspects of the program at Arrow Health.
