About the Role
Ideally you will be a proactive and engaging Registered Nurse who has a desire to support the team, and positive patient outcomes. Your excitement to facilitate health promotion, education and psycho-education for consumers, will motivate patients toward their treatment plan goals.
As always, it is integral that you have a high level of confidentiality and an understanding privacy of others.
We have various opportunities available.
You must be open to working a 4 week rotating roster of morning, afternoon and overnight shifts.
About you – Essential Criteria
A current AHPRA registration
A current First Aid Certificate
Computer and systems experience to update client records
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure/stress and meet demands
Current and valid Driver’s Licence
Current and valid Police Check and Working with Children Check

Support Workers
JOB TYPES: Part-time, Casual
We are looking for energetic and dynamic individuals with a passion for changing people’s lives to join our growing team. The role is centered on providing our residents with help and support as well as their families as they journey through our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) addiction treatment program and services.
Arrow Health is a leading provider of addiction and mental health treatment programs centered on achieving patient outcomes through the use of medical intervention, evidence-based therapies and proven tools and support structures.
We are looking for individuals who have an understanding of the AOD and/or the Mental Health sector to join us in a Casual or Part Time capacity.
Support Workers must be open to working a rotating roster of morning, afternoon and overnight shifts and work collaboratively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
The following roles are currently available within the private hospital and the therapeutic community:
- Engage with patients to support their needs
- Provide patients support and supervision throughout the program to achieve outcomes
- Supervision of group activities and attendance offsite
- Assist group facilitators when required
To be successful you must have an understanding and working knowledge of the AOD sector, and experience in or a desire to understand mental health.
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
