At Arrow Health, we strive to make our programs accessible and understand that financial concerns can be a significant part of the decision to seek treatment.

14 – 90 day programs available.

If you have private health insurance, addiction treatment can be claimed at our accredited hospital under the terms of your health fund agreement. Your out-of-pocket expenses will depend on your level of cover and you may only have your policy excess to pay.

We also welcome and treat DVA and TAC clients.

Fees

Depending on your level of cover, the gap payments on our inpatient programs are from as little as $XXX. And, we make the claims process easy by managing it all for you.

We can check your level of cover for you over the phone. To work out if you or someone you care about are covered by private health insurance, please call or email our Intake & Assessment team.

Does private health insurance cover any of the costs?

Yes. Arrow Health is a private health fund endorsed facility. Our programs run within our very own accredited Private Hospital. The private health fund excess and gap payment will vary depending on your level of cover.

I don’t have private health insurance

If you don’t have private health insurance, you can still access our programs by paying out of pocket. Many of our clients choose this option and find it to be a worthwhile investment in their health and future. Here are the costs you can expect:

Inpatient Programs: The average daily cost for inpatient programs is $XXX per day. This comprehensive fee covers all aspects of your care, including medical supervision, accommodation, meals, and therapeutic activities.

Day Programs: Our day programs are available at an average cost of $XXX per day, providing flexible support for those who need to balance treatment with daily responsibilities.

Complimentary Assessments

Your journey to recovery begins with a complimentary and confidential assessment with our Intake team.

Over-the-Phone Assessment: The initial assessment is conducted over the phone, providing you with an opportunity to ask lots of questions and allowing us to get to know you a little, understand your needs and recommend the best treatment plan for you.

Cost Analysis: We’ll discuss the estimated cost of your treatment based on the clinical recommendations of our team and we’ll do a health fund check. Whether you have private health insurance or are paying out of pocket, you’ll receive a transparent cost analysis and the team will answer any questions you have to ensure you have a clear understanding of fees and payments.

No Obligation: The assessment is free of charge and you are not obligated to commit to our programs – although we will encourage you to commit to your recovery and choose the best program for you!

Choosing the right rehab.

When it comes to choosing a rehab, it’s only natural to consider the costs. But, it’s not only cost that matters, especially when it comes to addiction treatment. With more and more ‘dodgy’ operators in this space, it’s important to consider the quality of the programs, clinical approach, qualifications and experience of staff and facility accreditations.
Choosing a lower-cost facility may lead to negative health outcomes, unsuccessful or ineffective treatment and ultimately, higher costs in the long term.

What does accredited mean? Accredited facilities have undergone rigorous evaluation to ensure they provide effective, evidence-based treatment and maintain high levels of patient care. This means that the programs offered are in line with the latest research and best practices in addiction treatment. You can find out more about national health care standards here.

There has recently been reports in the media around the lack of oversight and regulation in some Victorian private rehabilitation centres.

“The largely unregulated nature of the private AOD treatment sector had led to a “detrimental effect on the health and wellbeing, and financial situation, of clients and their families.”

Accredited hospitals, like Arrow Health, are committed to continuous improvement and regularly undergo assessments, reviews and audits to maintain their status.

Make sure that you choose an accredited treatment provider to help you or your loved one.

Questions to ask:

While seeking the best care possible, consider the following questions to help evaluate potential rehabs:

  • Staff Qualifications: What qualifications do the staff members hold who will be supervising the program?
  • Counselling Team: Who will be providing the counselling, and what are their credentials?
  • Online Reviews: Do the online reviews appear genuine and positive?
  • Facility Environment: Does the rehab centre appear professional and welcoming, or does it feel more like a restrictive institution?
  • Participant Feedback: Are you allowed to contact former or current program participants to hear about their experiences?
  • Program Outcomes: What results can you expect from the program, and how are they measured?
We understand the complexities and challenges of choosing the right rehab facility. Our team is committed to providing high-quality, personalised care to help you or your loved one achieve lasting recovery. If you have any questions or need guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact our intake team
