Having grown up witnessing a family member struggle with addiction, I always carried a form of helplessness within me that only subsided when I found myself working at Arrow- my first exposure to evidence and research based treatment approaches for addiction. My lived experience with addiction helps me show up for my clients with a level of empathy that not only helps them, but heals me too. And so, for over 2 years now, I am honoured to be a part of the Arrow team- letting those struggling with addiction feel seen and heard in a way they never have before.
When I have time, I love writing and creating videos. I love making new connections, spending time by water bodies, and eating middle-eastern food!
